Radiation Oncology Revenue Integrity Manager - MSO Coding Services - Full Time 8 Hour Days

Oversee day-to-day coding and authorizations processes to ensure accurate and timely charge capture for facility and professional services. Assist with review and resolution of hospital claim edits in addition to providing cross-coverage as needed.Reports to Director of Coding with dotted line reporting to Departmental Leadership.
Minimum Education:
High school diploma and successful completion of college courses in Medical Terminology, Anatomy & Physiology and a certified coding class.
Minimum Experience/Knowledge:
5 years minimum experience in a Supervisory role. exp. in medical billing, coding, collections, working knowledge of computer billing systems (GECB), CPT-4 & ICD-9/ICD-10CM coding, insurance & medical terminology, laws governing collection efforts.
Working knowledge of authorization
Required License/Certification:
Certified Coding Specialist (CCS-AHIMA) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC-AAPC). Must successfully complete specific Coding Tests.
Prefer specialty-specific certification ROCC (can be waived based upon experience and score on pre-employment test) but must be obtained within 12 months of hire date.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
