This role is a part-time position to assist the managers and staff by performing the following
Responsibilities:
Management Support - Coordinate with Property Managers in documents administration (i.
e.
, correspondence, monthly reports, tenant chargebacks, etc.
) - Assist Property Managers in the monthly billing and collections of rent and other receivables.
- Assist Property Manager with tenant and vendor relations, including collections and start/stop of utility service.
- Coordinate tenant service requests.
Delegate calls and follow up with tenant and/or property manager as required.
Assist in tracking tenant work orders.
- Track vendor and tenant certificate of insurance expiration dates, request W9/renewals, ensure compliance with standard coverage terms and conditions.
Accounting Support - Receive, log, and remote deposit rent payments and other incoming funds - Scan and enter invoices for payment and processing - Data entry in property management software Office Administration - Provide customer service (i.
e.
, greet visitors, answer phones, e-mails, etc.
).
- Maintain and organize filing systems (physical/digital) - Assist with the preparation for staff meetings - Distribute outgoing mail and sort incoming mail - Monitor and order general office supplies as needed - May perform other duties as assigned Qualifications - Excellent customer service skills - Work as a team player in a small office environment - Exhibits professionalism - Ability to perceive and solve problems - Possess good written and verbal communication skills - Highly organized with ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments - Reliable and possesses a positive attitude Minimum Requirements - High School diploma or equivalent - Minimum 2 years' experience in property management or administrative support role - Proficient in Microsoft Suite, and general computer use Schedule - Mon-Fri:
