We are looking for a dependable and independent Shop-Hand to help us run our CNC Machine Shop.
We are a small CNC automation company (six employees) that designs, manufactures, and sells CNC Machine Automation Equipment (gimbelautomation.
com).
This is an entry-level position, but you must be willing to learn and hopefully have some familiarity or experience around warehouse environments and/or machine tools.
Responsibilities include running/monitoring equipment that has already been set up (CNC Machinery), packaging and shipping various products from our automation line, and miscellaneous assembly and cleaning.
There are also learning opportunities to advance beyond the position of Shop-Hand.
For instance, employees have previously advanced from the position of shop-hand to CNC Mill Operator.
There will be opportunities to become familiar with a variety of industrial machining equipment, including a Haas UMC-500 five-axis CNC mill, a Haas VF-2YT with fourth axis, laser welding equipment, and metal and plastic 3D printers.
