Retail Receiving Supervisor in Alhambra , California 150 E Main Street Alhambra CA US 91801 Overview Retail Receiving Supervisors lead the back-of-house team in making sure our stores remain stocked with the merchandise our customers want! Youll lead by example and provide feedback to team members on a regular basis to ensure that best practices for receiving, ticketing, sorting, and moving merchandise are properly implemented.
Receiving Supervisors understand the importance of moving freight into and throughout the store quickly, efficiently, and accurately.
Your organizational skills and ability to successfully coach a diverse team through every phase of the Receiving process will be critical in driving results.
Responsibilities:
Actively train, supervise, and coach the Receiving Team in the receiving, processing, ticketing, sorting, moving and displaying of merchandise from the shipping/receiving platform through the stockroom to the sales floor Maintain neat and orderly stock and receiving area and sales floor Audit, validate and report on inventory using purchase orders and ticketing Perform other tasks as assigned by manager from time-to-timeCandidates must be able to work a flexible schedule; including 6am mornings, nights, weekends and holidays as required.
Physical requirements may include the ability to lift and move boxes weighing 40 lbs.
