We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Clerk.
As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for processing and managing all accounts payable transactions for our organization.
This is a vital role in ensuring accurate financial records and maintaining positive relationships with vendors.
Duties:
- Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies - Review and verify invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment - Prepare and perform weekly check runs, wire transfers, and ACH payments - Reconcile vendor statements, research and resolve any discrepancies or issues - Maintain accurate vendor records, including contact information and payment terms - Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable - Collaborate with internal departments to resolve any invoice or payment discrepancies - Provide support for audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries Requirements:
- Must have prior dealership experience as Accounts Payable Clerk - Knowledge of accounting principles and practices - CDK system knowledge is a plus but not required - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Skills:
- Experience in public accounting or tax preparation is a plus - Familiarity with accounts receivable processes This is a full-time position with regular business hours.
